This policy explains what information Innovative Martial Arts Academy ("we") collects through scottsvalleymartialarts.com, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. When you fill out the free-class form or the birthday party form, we receive what you type in:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your child's (or the student's) name and age
- The program you're interested in, or your party date, guest count and add-on choices
- Anything you write in the note field
You don't need an account to use this site, and you can browse every page without giving us anything.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site: which pages they visit, how they found us, how long they stay and what kind of device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects this information on Google's behalf. It reports to us in aggregate. We don't use it to identify you, and we don't connect it to anything you send us through a form.
Google handles that data under its own privacy policy. You can see how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking or clearing cookies in your browser also stops it.
We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell or share analytics data for advertising.
Like most websites, our web server may also keep basic technical records of requests, such as your IP address and browser type, for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
We use what you send to answer your request: to schedule a free class, plan a birthday party, or answer your questions by phone or email. We don't add you to a mailing list or newsletter.
We don't sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
Who else sees it
When you submit a form, our website sends your answers to our inbox through an email delivery service. That service handles the message only to deliver it to us. Beyond that, we don't share your information unless the law requires us to.
The site links to Facebook, Yelp and Google Maps. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one doesn't cover them.
Children's information
This site is written for parents and adult students. Our forms ask a parent or guardian for their child's name and age so we can place them in the right class or plan their party. We don't knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child sent us information without a parent, contact us and we'll delete it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as it's needed to stay in touch with your family about classes or your event. If you'd like us to remove it, call us at 831-438-5425 or write to us at the address below and we'll delete it.
Your choices

Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There's no common standard for how websites should respond to it, so this site doesn't change its behavior when the signal is on. To stop Google Analytics, use the opt-out add-on or block cookies as described above.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
